Greetings Jim and list, The Flash Disk's size is about 16 megabytes (16 million characters); however, I found that factory content took about 1.5 to 2 megabytes. However, this will vary from version to version of KeySoft. In my experience, I had more files with KeySoft 4.01, such as Readme's of previous versions, and other files I don't think I necessarily needed; although these took up space, it wasn't a significant amount, so I never deleted them. When I had KeySoft 5 Build 25 burned into ROM, all the previous files I didn't need had been cleared, so I had additional space. When you create a folder, a small file (about 500 characters) is created, and databases you use (email and address list) are also files on the Flash Disk. Despite all of this, however, I have never gotten a "full disk" warning in all the time I've had the BN (March of last year), and I have never needed to delete anything. The answer to your question is that you have about 14 megabytes of memory, which, at least for me, has been quite sufficient. However, you can upgrade the memory of the entire Flash Disk to 48 megabytes, although you'll probably have about 46 due to factory files; also, you can purchase memory cards for additional memory. If you ever need to know how much space you have left in the Flash Disk (or any other drives on the BN), you can go to the File Manager and then the Directory option. When you're prompted for a "Drive?", go to the Flash Disk (or other drive), but instead of selecting it, give the command to receive Information. This will give you the disk name, amount of space left, and total disk size. There is a mention to this in your User Guide in the appendix which explains how to upgrade software. All the best, Maria
