What is the extention ofthe file? Make sure it is brf. Also maybe try unpacing the book again.

Hi I would like to know I downloaded a file from book share (in BRF format) when it asked me how to download it I chose the BRF format option and downloaded it that way or at least that was what I thought. Then I unpacked the file, and saved it to a folder here on my laptop and then I took and put the file on my compact flash card and put it on my braille note now I can not go to open the file with out changing the attribute (with chord x) to open all files and then when I do the book is unreadable in that format (all I get are > signs on the braille display) when I try to read the book. And also, just for laughs, I took it and tried opening it in duxbury, but still no go (it opened up as a text document for some reason) so can somebody help in regards to the braille note issue? How can I remedy this problem of not being able to read this book? Should I have downloaded it differently? This is my first time at bookshare so.
Any help with this would be much appreciated.
Thank you
