Thanks Susie. Didn't think of that and that would make sense. Do you know
what $fm means? probably something equally obvious.

$c means "center line."

Subject: [Braillenote] dollar c and list of formatting characters

Hi all.

I also am not sure about $c either. Is there a concise list of format
markers anywhere? I know there is a chapter on the subject and an
appendix that discusses searching for them but I was wondering if there
was a list of all of them anywhere in case you come accross one you
can't recognise.

Cheers

Graham
