Hi Listers,
Here's what I notice.
1. No matter what file I try to write in when I go back into the file even if
I do the s chord before exiting the file the information is gone. Needless to
say I don't feel comfortable writing any more information down about my
students using the BN for fear it will erase all of my documentation from this
past year.

2. Even if I would have saved the paper and the notes on a disk I doubt they
would have appeared on the disk they probably would have appeared as nothing.
The email and Internet and everything else seems to work fine with the BN just
the word processor.

3. I'm just glad this paper required no research just the time of one elderly
gentleman to help me out. Good thing I did the interview tonight so the
information is fresh in my mind. I'm going to see if the person in the
disability office can type the paper for me. I guess I'll have to dictate it
to her. The professor wants it professional so she'll get professional no
matter what I have to do.
I just dislike technology when you really need it to help you out. Oh well too
bad the slate and stylus cannot write print. I would use the computer at work
but it seems rude to use the company computer for doing my homework.
I'll call tech support at PDI and see what they say. I think PDI should have a
recover file option somewhere. The old FS products had this feature and it
came in handy a lot.
It often had garbage mixed in (the original files but the original files were
there.
4. I don't have a disk drive for the BN and right now I think would be
pointless to purchase one if the BN cannot save any information in the files
even for a matter of minutes. Just exiting to go to the utilities menu to
backup files would cause a problem the info would be gone by the time I was
ready to hook up the disk drive.
Thanks for your help and your time.
Lisa
