Jerry,
Yes, unprotect the file via the file manager menu. I also found that, for
some unknown reason, I have two keymail folders in my flash disk. I tried
to delete one of them, but after I had to press reset at a later stage, the
deleted keymail folder returned; so I effected the changes I wanted to make
in the print template file in both.

Something else that I discovered, is that it is apparently better to retain
the print to file name in the keysoft system disk and do not try to rename
it whilst still there, as my experience was that if you did, my unit locked
up and I had to reset to get speech back. Only rename the file when you
save it to the flash disk or cf card.

However, I have succeeded to write out two files to a cf card with Roselle's
method, containing a month's saved emails each.

Regards
Riana

an d more about the Print to File option

Dear List,
the BN does not allow me to edit /flash disk/e-mail print template, as
described in Roselle's post. Is there something special one needs to do to
edit the e-mail print template. right now I just get the file is protected
message.

If you have had success setting this up, let me know what I need to do to
edit this template file.

Sincerely,
Jerry Weinger
