First, check BrailleNote's configuration.  If your service information is 
wrong, as in the SMTP server field, then you are not going to succeed in 
sending mail.  Always try everything you can to resolve the issue at your 
end before charging at your ISP.

However, today's SMTP services are complicated creatures.  You need to be 
very specific about the errors you receive on your BrailleNote during the 
email submission process.  Armed with this information, I can tell you 
specifically where the problem lies and exactly what you will need to 
inform Earthlink's Postmasters/support desks.
