Hello Peter: The only question I can comment on is transfering files between the Braille Note and your PC. Using Windows 98 2nd eddition my best advise for you is to use a card reader. The Braille Note does come with it's own version of active sync but in order to use it you must have Windows 2000, or XP.
I about a month ago purchased the Voice Note quirty and I must say it' pretty stable. I also use Window-Eyes 4.5 but I use Windows 2000. I hope this answered at least one question. smile John Gunn ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter West" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, November 13, 2003 12:21 AM Subject: [Braillenote] To purchase or not > Hi list, > > As the subject line suggests I am considering the BrailleNote but would > be grateful for a little more information. > > The demonstration machine I saw was configured so that if you entered a > filename it appeared in US computer braille.
