Hi Jonathan,

Thanks for the helpful info and for replying so promptly.  I'll certainly
try that.  The problem is that most of the tech support people only know
about their e-Mobile software which runs on a PC or a PDA and does the
configuration automatically, but I'm sure it must be possible to set this up
manually for dial-up networking.  At least now they should know what I'm
talking about!  In the meantime I'll carry on experimenting with the
parameters in the directory of services, just in case I strike gold!
