Josh,

I was at Beyond Sight last summer while on vacation, and one of their sales
people said that the Nokia 9290 won't be sold after the end of the year.
Since you are looking for a phone to interact with your BN, why not look at
some of the other nokia models, like the 3589 or the 6610. Also, the Nokia
9290 costs considerably more than the standard cell phone, partly because of
the Talx software, but also because it has one of those text input
mini-keyboards. From a review of the 6610 that Jonathan Mosen did on ACB
Radio's Main Menu before he left, he said and demonstrated how you can
attach your phone to a PC and control entries in the phone book and perform
other tasks as well. Of course, if you don't have a PC, then this won't work
for you. In that case, I'd recommend a phone with an IR port, but generally
save money and skip the Nokia 9290 since it won't be around for much longer
anyway.
