Hi Jen,

Nope, as far as I know, at the file to create prompt, you cannot overwrite the 
preexisting file.  What I do is open the file, go to the top of the document by 
press space with dots 1-2-3 (read with t), and then erase to the end of the 
document by pressing backspace with 4,5,6 (control with d).

Again, there is no way to get rid of the "review options" prompt.  If you know 
that you're opening a file that will prompt you, that is any file type other 
than a keyword text or braille file, simply hit enter twice in rapid succession 
upon opening, and that should take care of things.  HTH, Laura
