Hmmm, if Maria's post was based on what I said in my first post on this topic,
where I said that the limit is about half the remaining space of the Keysoft
Systems Disk, then I should clarify that this is just my estimate because I
don't remember being able to play a 4MB wave file. And sometimes, a wave file
I used to be able to play on the BN won't play after some time because I hadn't
cleared temporary internet files yet. But as to how much space the BN really
needs in the Keysoft Systems Disk in order to play the wave file, that would
need some more testing which I don't really have the luxury of time to do. So,
saying that the limit is about half the remaining space in the Keysoft Systems
Disk should suffice as a rule of thumb.
Now, Charles, I'm afraid you were not able to read my first post on this where
I also mentioned the other limitations, so let me just repeat them. Aside from
the size, the wave file should be of PCM audio format, 8 or 16 bit (mono or
stereo), and no more than 44,100 Hz. So even if the file is small enough to be
played on the BN, if one of these criteria is not met, it still won't play.

HTH,
Roselle
