Turn of the "smart quotes", too. Word will show single quotes instead of
apostrophes if "smart quotes" is turned on.

: Hi Jeff,
: The auto numbering feature of MS Word is not supported by the BN. I
: suggest that you turn off auto-numbering and auto-bulleting in Word from
: the Tools - Options menues, so you can number things manually. I have
: found that when things do things for you "automatically" that they do it
: wrong.

: Hello All:
:
: Last week I wrote up a test for my students. I had done 44 so far on
: the PC. Then I took the CF card with me on the road and put in
: BrailleNote. I decided to spell check. All went fine until I put the
: CF card back into the PC. To my horror the numbers were gone! I had to
: spend over an hour putting the numbers in the test again.
:
: MS-Word automatically puts in numbers when I go to a new question but BN
: really screws that up? Is there a remedy or advise for the future,
: please?
:
: Thank you, friends!
