Chris, Go into the File Manager and select the Directory option. Next, press ENTER on the Flash Disk, and when asked for the folder, select or type (in computer Braille on the BT) the word None. Press SPACE with X (READ with X) to view all, including hidden, files. Do you have files called kgm32.dll and kgm32eng.dll there? (Why do I hear James Aldrich groaning? LOL) If you do, let us know, and then we can offer a solution to that crackly speech problem. If not, join the club that James Aldrich had founded somehow, <grin>. Just to assure you, although I know this won't make you feel better, I got rid of that problem even when I was still running v4.01, and I don't experience it still now that I'm using version 5.0.
