First, to address the question of getting into the browser without loading
a page - you can simply load any local file by typing directly the path or
by using the space bar to browse the tree, and you will not be expected to
connect. From then on, you can delete cookies and temporary internet
files as normal. If you can bare an even longer wait, you may try loading
whatever you have set as your home page, and when prompted for the
connection, choose one not connected to the media. This works superbly
with LAN interfaces if the card is not inserted, because the BN times out
almost immediately and you are left with Pocket IE's "Navigation
Cancelled" page. Again, continue with the internet file management menu.

Alternatively, and more conveniently, use ActiveSync and/or the file
manager to erase all files (use the * as wildcard) from subdirectory
/Windows/profiles/cookies/ or /windows/profiles/temporary internet files/
. Use Ctrl-T on a QT model from the folder name or list prompt to convert
to a subdirectory browser. Use help for info about that, or the manual
concerning the file manager.

Cheers,
Sabahattin
