Graham, You may be in 8-dot Computer Braille. If so, there is no need to press the SPACE with U as it is not used here, and the "at" sign is generated by pressing dots 2-3-4-6-7 in UK 8-dot Computer Braille. The dot by go is the BACKSPACE key, which you press in addition to the others. In general, with 8-dot Computer Braille, you press dot 7 with the other keys to produce an upper case letter. To perform the actions of BACKSPACE and ENTER, or to initiate commands that involve these keys, you have to press the SPACE key in addition to the keys you would normally press. To change the settings back to 6-dot if they're in 8-dot, go to the Keyboard Settings from the Options Menu, and when changing values for the "6- or 8-Dot Computer Braille" option, type in by from or 8 with the number sign. With 6-dot Computer Braille, the BN should accept the SPACE with U then dots 2-3-4-6. Section 7.17.2 of the BT User Guide for KeySoft version 5 discusses 8-Dot Computer Braille, so if you need more info, you can look there. The table you want to look at in Appendix J is J.2.3 for UK 8-Dot and J.2.1 and J.2.2 for UK lower- and upper-case Computer Braille respectively. In the Address List, pressing SPACE with H at the "Email Address" field should repeat these combinations for you. I don't know if that's your problem, but if it is, I hope this helps. Maria
