Laura,

Jim Taylor, Kellie or Derek would correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the
French multilingual includes French-Canadian, French CBIS, and French CBIFS.
Well, as far as I know, there are three different Unicode tables for these.
Also, I'm not sure if, when you wrote, "two modules", you meant that one can
only have two languages installed in their BN. You can have more than two
languages (already counting English) and at most five (still counting English).
And one more thing... after replying Y to the prompt "Standard, change?", you
must press ENTER first before selecting. The selection list for printer files
will not appear if you just press Y.

PS: I think you're not receiving all messages again, particularly my private
e-mail and posts on this list, because you repeated some of the things I
mentioned in a previous post replying to Rui and Bob. You should have received
a private e-mail earlier today as well, replying to your laptop questions.

>Hi Rui! Welcome to the list! You'll find it can be a very very useful
>resource. Oh and don't worry about a thing concerning your English. It's
>perfectly fine. Now, to answer a few of your questions

>1. Yes, you can have two modules for languages on your Braillenote. I
>believe the only ones offered at this point in time are German, French
>Canadian, um, regular French? *grin*, Spanish, and Italian, but I may be wrong
>about that. Note that if you're running keysoft version 5, installing a
>second language may cause some conflicts. I have spanish installed and ks 5,
>and haven't experienced any major problems yet. (knock on wood)

>3. Make sure that the printer you're using does not require drivers from
>windows in order to run. The bn does not support printers that are only
>windows compatible, so you may have to go printer shopping. Also, make sure
>that you have the hp printer selected in the printer setup menu. To do this,
>enter keyword by pressing w from the main menu. Next press p to print a
>document, and s to set up the printer. Press space until you get to the
>option "printer type?" if you have not changed this, it should say "standard,
>change?" Press y to change, and select the hp printer driver files from the
>list provided.

>HTH, and good luck! Laura PS. Bob, the Spanish word for help is ayuda,
>except, I'm pretty sure they speak Portuguese in Portugal
