Lisa, more out of precaution, it is a good idea to save your work and then you will have it. If you have a bn which is eratic, then save onto flash card computer or floppy disk whatever median you happen to have. Yes, it sounds like extra work but you should savereguarly while writing the document, just like in a normal computer. You have to realize none of these machines including the old fashioned dos note takers is fullproof. Hope this answered your question.
