Hello Listers, I finally got my quiz sent again to my professor this time hopefully she can read it. I did notice something odd though when I was imputing the format indicators though. For some reason the BN would not allow me to use dots 4-5-6 before letters or words like the word the for the word their and the 4-5-6 sign before the letter w in the word world. Anyway now that I'm writing a regular grade 2 email it seems to be okay. I checked the Braille display options and tried changing the display computer Braille from 6 dot to 8 dot the this didn't fix the problem. Changing this option back to 6 dot didn't fix the problem either. I don't know what the BN had a problem with dots 4-5-6 before words or letters any ideas?
Another issue I've noticed lately that the BN is how sometimes it will save my emails I plan to send and sometimes it won't. I usually don't save a copy of my emails except of important emails like this quiz. Anyway usually even when I do save a copy the email is waiting to be sent out when I open KEYMAIL after shutting my unit off for awhile. Today it kept deleting the emails in the outbox to be sent or maybe they were never there at all. Also today the BN would not allow me to write an email shut off the unit for awhile and come back the email. It would delete what I had written so I had to start all over again. Usually the BN displays a message # want to edit temp wp and I continue writing the email. I don't know why my BN is being finicky today. I also noticed that I could not move the copy of my quiz to the outbox to work on it. It was in one of my stored folders (the original copy that is) and the BN would not lear me move the email to the inbox or the outb! ox. It would only let me move it the folders I had created in Keymail or the trash folder. This concerns me. What I did was copied the original copy of the quiz to the clipboard, created a new message, and inserted the format indicators and sent the quiz again. When I tried sending the original copy of the quiz to the trash and then tried to get it to move to the inbox that didn't work either. I just don't understand why Keymail limits where stored emails can go. I know the BN like any piece of technology has its advantages and disadvantages. Thank you for everyone's help especially to Maria for the assistance with the issue of replying to emails. It least I've learned my lesson. One more thing I thought there was an appendix in the user's guide that discussed all the possible format indicators. WHEN I went to find that appendix nothing was mentioned about the backspace with dots 1 and 2 for the Grade 2 indicator. This concerns me. Am I not able to use the find command when writing emails? I have trying resetting my unit to fix the problem and it doesn't seem to fix it. I especially noticed this being an issue when I was working on redoing the quiz. Thanks for everyone's help. I still think the BN is a great product and I'm not trying to complain just voice my concerns. Lisa
