Hi Roselle, Maria and all.

Thanks for your advice. I think I've solved it, but the settings that need
changing are it seems in Back Translation rather than Ascii translation.

I think the Ascii translation options only make a difference to Ascii files,
or so it seems.

I found that I had the Type of Blankparagraph boundary needs to be set to
Blank line or Indent, and I had to changeInterpret Larger Boundaries as
Paragraphs needed to be set to no. This was set to yes.

I think the problem arose from me playing about.

Is there a way of setting all these translation options back to the factory
defaults if you make a mess of things?

Cheers

Graham,

Not sure if this will fix it because I cannot recall right now if this is a
bug or not, but go into the ASCII Translation options (press F from the Main
Menu, then T, A), and change the setting for "Use Line or Paragraph format"
to Line. It would be set to Paragraph by default. If that doesn't work,
change it to the setting "As Is" and check again.
Note that you can cycle through the settings for that option by pressing
SPACE with dots 3-4 (CTRL with SPACE).

HTH,
Roselle
