Diane, I use a BrailleNote to emboss on my Blazer; I have the lines per
page on both set at 25, and the characters per line in both set at 34.
(When I use Duxbury some of these settings are changed.) I have not run
into the problem you mentioned. My standard practice is to make the
embosser as "dumb" as possible, that is, make all your settings in the
software (in this case, the BrailleNote), and let the sending device
dictate things, not the embosser. Write me off-list if you'd like and we
can figure this out.

Could the blank lines be due to having your line lengths too long in
some cases or something? try reducing them by a character or two in the
Braille note and see what happens. this could leave the embosser with
enough play to compensate for weird things in the translation or
something. Just shooting my mouth off here but consider my last name
too.

thank you!

Hi all

I very rarely post to this list but I have had my Braille note just over
a year now and use my Braille blazer embosser and they have never worked
that well together but I cannot afford to get a new embosser, the
problem I am having is that the Braille is fine but it puts in blank
lines at random intervals. I did contact pulsedata but they said speak
to Blazie engineering and they said speak to pulsedata at the end of the
day I am still getting these blank lines and I thought maybe someone out
there who uses both might be able to offer some assistance on or off
list although off list might be best. [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Thank you in advance

Diane
