A possibly good solution, although it may not be economically justifiable, would be a selectable strap. This would allow those who don't have or intend to get a GPS, or those who are a bit shorter and need the strap to shorten more than currently possible, to use it.

I like the new case, very much. The purpose of not covering the entire thing, to my understanding, was so that you could still plug things such as a printer or headphones, into the unit without having to take it completely out. I have a bt, and the infrared port is not covered at all. I do not find that the flap closes at all, and when I use the bn when standing, I simply pull the flap under the case so that it is against ky body and doesn't hang. The only suggestion I have is to come out with a case that is not built for the GPS. As Terri pointed out, the straps are not adjustable because of the flap with velcro for the GPS receiver. The patches of velcro on the sides usually either get stuck on things, or lead to curious questions as to why external velcro is running along the sides of the case.
