Hi Dean
Please give us an example of a birthday.
My birthday is April 18, how would you show that?

appointment

Ok, but the concept of simply using the planner as a device for jotting
information that is not time specific but day specific seems to be lost
here. I was always able to simply use the planner as, it was described
in the Braillenote manual as a "page per day" planner. What this
indicates is that one could write notes which would pertain to say,
Friday March 12, without necessarily scheduling any kind of appointment
for that date.

Hi all,

To write notes in an appointment, you need to position the cursor
anywhere
on the title field of an appointment, and press enter. You'll be taken
to a
notes page to write notes, which will appear in the notes field of the
Outlook appointment in question once synchronised.

>From anywhere in the notes, you can press space with dots 123 (read
with t)
or space with dots 456 (read with b) to go to the top or bottom of the
notes
page respectively. This is consistent with navigating any normal
document
in KeySoft.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

appointment

I have used my planner for more than an appointment book. In previous
versions every day had a page on which I would write notes, phone calls
things to be accomplished during the day etc. With the new upgrade, it
changes all these notes into all day appointments. This is true for the
past notes and notes I write during the current day. I can not delete
this All day marker. Most commercial planners have spaces for notes
which is what most sighted people write in their planners. Now this
planner was just turned into an appointment book. If I could take the
All day appointments out or turn them off the planner would become a
planner again. Being a planner makes it a more versitile tool than just
an appointment book. If you can't turn off the All day, can I have a
field for notes? Even outlook has that.
