What I do is to locate my reading position with the cursor every once in a while. If your cursor is, for example, at the beginning of the sentence that you were reading when you exited the User Guide, you would be placed at the beginning of this sentence when you re-entered and chose to continue reading your selected reference. This means you would be a lot closer to where you were reading. Just keep your cursor as close to your Braille display position as possible, which would be the beginning of your current sentence, and this should solve your problem. HTH.
