I got my bn on July 22, 2002 and just got it back on February 27th from its
yearly cleaning and while it was out there they called to find out if it was ok
if they wentahead and put in a new battery and I told them to go ahead as
probably it would have had to go back in another 6 months for one anyway so I
just went ahead and had it done.
I plug the unit in every night thus when I use it in the day I have a full
charge. And I just checked and the gauge is accurate. They need to completely
revamp that charging system. It is too confusing for even a sighted person and
when the battery needs to be charged, keep it simple, folks and just have a
message battery low. Then an options p and it should say 1% battery life and
leave it at that.
Put the rest of the information when last charged and all that other garbage
under a code for the techies who work on these things.
Ok bye for now, I'll step down from my soap box.

>>Hello Listers,
>>I have a couple questions about calibrating the battery.
>>1. I tried calibrating the battery using the exercise display item in

>>2. Then I tried calibrating the battery with the I'm talking until my

>>3. I think it would be nice if when the user presses space to find out
