When I do the talking until my battery goes flat thing, I just turn the volume
on the speech waaaaaay down, just loud enough for me to hear if I need to and
go do my little things, checking every so often to see if the unit is still
talking until it finally stopps.
Hth.

>>Hello Listers,
>>I have a couple questions about calibrating the battery.
>>1. I tried calibrating the battery using the exercise display item in
>>the support information mode. Apparently checking to see how long the
>>battery has been draining is not possible with the exercise the Braille

>>display option. I tried pressing space several times and got nowhere.

>>2. Then I tried calibrating the battery with the I'm talking until my
>>battery goes flat option. How long is this process supposed to take?
>>I left my BN in this drain mode for over 14 hours and it had only
>>gotten down to 42 percent. I quit the process because I didn't know
>>what to do.

>>3. I think it would be nice if when the user presses space to find out

>>how long the battery has been in the drain mode it should tell the user

>>what the percentage is like 42 percent or whatever so the user has a
>>clue how long the battery has left in discharging.

>>4. It would be nice if it said somewhere in the User's Guide the
>>average amount of "^ it takes to calibrate the battery. Thank you for
>>reading, for your help, and your time. Have a wonderful weekend
