Hello:

I don't want to cause a debate, just throwing in my two cents.  I have a voice 
note, and like the long strap.  There have been times when I have had to hold 
the voice note on my lap, so put the strap around my neck to prevent the unit 
from falling.  And, I have used my voice note in a store, while standing and 
the strap came in handy.
Perhaps the strap could be designed to be more adjustible, for those who want 
it shorter.
