Hi Peter and John,

I wouldn't lable this as multi tasking, but you can definitely switch
between two, or for that matter, among any number of documents as
follows:

I can only give the bt commands, but I believe the qt command will be in
Roselle's short cut list, forwarded during February.

>From within a document press space with dots 1 2 5 6 and you will get
the prompt: document to switch to? The default is the document you have
accessed directly before the one you were in when you pressed the switch
command. If you want to switch to a different document, you can either
type its name at that prompt and remember to use backspace if the
document you want to go to is in a different folder and/or drive as the
suggested one, alternatively, you could press space to go through the
list of documents in the folder of the suggested document and press
enter on the one you need. A further alternative is to go through the
previous documents which you have switched to with dots 2 3 and space,
which has the advantage that you don't then have to change the drives
and folders manually if the document you look for is in a different
location. You can then do your editing in the second document and when
you press switch again, the default is to return to the previously
accessed document as mentioned and you will also be returned to the
exact curser location where you left off.

The switch command works in keyword and the book reader respectively. By
this I mean that each application remembersits own sequence of documents
accessed, but you can e.g switch from a keyword folder on your flash
disk to a book on your cf card. To switch to a different application,
whilst in e.g. the inbox, press backspace with w with enter together to
switch to the keyword menu and when you have edited your keyword
document by for instance, pasting something there, return to email by
pressing backspace with enter with e together. I have not tested this
with other keymail folders, but if you had previously left keymail from
within a message in the inbox, it will say resuming editing in inbox
folder, or something to that effect and you will land at the same
location in that message where you left off from.

I believe this enter and backspace commands with the relevant
substitution letter works for keybook, the calculator and planner, but
it definitely does not work to get to the utilities and file management
menus.
You can go to the main menu from anywhere with dots 1 2 3 4 5 6 and
space together, but you cannot switch back from there to within a
document with the switch commands.

Hth
Riana
