Some places limit access to their wireless systems by MAC address. If
your address is not in the list, you won't be able to access the network.
One suggestion I have is if there is no other way, I think Windows will
give you the MAC address of the network card under the network
configuration. I'd try putting the card in a laptop, and see if the
MAC address shows up.
