Hi, Charles and everyone, For me, the process of choosing between the VN and PM was very clear cut and logical. I didn't want to spend the bulk of my time learning and memorizing WINDOWS work-arounds and adaptations. I also loved the fact that BOOKSHARE was already up and running on the VN. I carefully calculated which routine tasks would be my daily priorities and quickly realized that the PM would serve none of my immediate needs because I greatly value working with specialized equipment designed and created with the blind in mind. As I have said before on this list, I received my unit on Saturday morning and emailed a class assignment the following night. The more I use the VN, the more I think WINDOWS is a royal "pane in the posterior"--especially in relationship to the internet browser!
