Hello Diane:

I travel by plane regularly with my VoiceNote QT and have had no ill effects
from the security check point. I usually travel with a large laptop bag
into which I put all my adaptive electronic paraphinailia.I allow them to
scan or x-ray the bag to their hearts content. Aside from asking me to take
my lap top out, they have only rarely inquired about what the rest of the
stuff is. They are then usually more than satisfied with an explanation of
this equipment being there to help me manage while blind. They are usually
much more interested in having to scan my dog guide then my bags.

Obviously, I think any needles or other "Sharp" equipment that you carry for
the talking glucometer might give them some pause, but I've never traveled
with that kind of gear. Have a safe trip and good luck with your next dog.
