Hi all,

Mike, when you talked to Bookshare did you look at the O'Reilly stuff?
Who publishes your texts? You may need to contact the publishers.
Depends on what state you live in, but because of the new Braille
Bills, publishers have to make their text books available to students
with visual impairments.

You've checked all the main sites, seemingly, so, I'd go for the
publishers. You could try CNIB maybe they have the stuff, you never
know. Actually, your Disabilities Office at your college should be
making the calls for you. That's part of their job, and it will look
better if the request to the publishers comes from an official
source. It must be an obscure sort of book they're using. Most of
the computer texts are published by O'Reilly. Good luck. Oh, did
you try National Braille Book Bank?
