Hi all, HumanWare runs the BrailleNote list so we can get feedback from some of our users, both positive and negative. I read every message and value the feedback greatly. However, I only have a limited time with everything else in my job to read these messages. I am obviously interested in reading people's opinions on the future of BrailleNote hardware, however, the majority of messages I have read this morning with that subject have been about a well-known bug with certain versions of Eloquence. I would firstly request that that string not be sent to this list. In fact, really it's not responsible to send that string to any public list where Eloquence users are clearly going to be inconvenienced by it. But secondly, the matter isn't on topic for this list. I appreciate that Freedom Scientific do not run their own lists in the same way that we, GW Micro or other companies do, but there are still a number of JAWS lists where this topic is much more relevant.
Please let's keep focussed on the purpose for which this list was intended. Many thanks and I look forward to reading your comments on BrailleNote-related topics.
