Hi Beth. The only major issue I am aware of with regard to disappearing 
files relates to a Windows CE issue when you turn the BrailleNote on with 
a storage card in the slot. For this reason we've repeatedly urged that 
cards not be inserted at the time the unit is turned on. 

Regarding e-mail, keep in mind that the storage on a PDA is always going 
to be less than you'd have on a PC, however I have downloaded many 
hundreds of e-mails at a time on the BrailleNote and received some quite 
large attachments. Further, we're making the receiving of large files 
easier in the version 6 series by allowing you to store the e-mail 
database on a storage card. So if you have a two gigabyte compact flash 
card for example, you'll be able to receive exceptionally large 
attachments assuming you have sufficient free space on the card.
