I think there might be a slight misunderstanding.  Don, as he has written, was 
being somewhat sarcastic.  However, he does have a point.  He isn't saying 
people should be experts with the equipment.  He is saying, rather, that people 
should just be aware of exactly what the BN family will and, especially, will 
not do.  I still don't think this is unreasonable.  Of course, that doesn't 
mean that any of us will be taken seriously, but I think if people knew what 
their BN would and wouldn't do, they wouldn't be as surprised when it didn't 
perform to their expectations.
This doesn't at all mean that I don't think people should be taught how to use 
the BN before buying it.  On the contrary, I think people should be taught as 
much as possible, whenever possible.  Remember, it's all about education.  I 
know we have all seen messages we considered silly or maybe even unreasonable, 
but all I have to do is remind myself that the poster may not be educated, and 
it all makes sense.
