Well the couple of times I heard demos of things on the Braille Note Bt, I could hear a sort of light clacking sound as the keys came up from being pushed down. That was one of the main reasons why I chose the qt model over the bt because the bt was too noisy for my book. I understand they have quietened it down just a bit but still with the qt it is extremely quiet. It is even quieter than my IBM which is one of the quietest computers out there.

You can scarcely hear the keys on the QT.  I don't know about the BT.
