Matthew,
You need to contact your Internet Service Provider to find out if there
is a dial-up number for you to use. What service provider are you using?
A modem will not work without a phone line. Why would you want to
purchase an external modem? The Braille Note has a modem built-in.
Original message:
Hi List. I have a question about using the e-mail. I have a cable
connection and do not use a 56 K modem to get on line. Where can I get a
phone number to get on line to send and receive e-mail. I also would like to
know Ware I can get a modem to connect to my serial port? If I buy an
external modem do I still need to have a phone line for it to work?
If some one can answer these question it would help.
Thanks. I am using the classic mother board with ketysoft 4.02 (just
updated).
