Hi Penny;

Have you ever thought of putting
your cards in the zipper pocket of your case. I started out by storing mine
in the id pocket but when they fell out a time or two I changed to the
pocket. Just think of the jentlemen who put his expensive card in his
pocket and lost it at a bingo game. Better safe than sorry!

Subject: [Braillenote] Re: Gremlins with card insert and removal

Hi, Richard, I am one who has trouble with the cards left in when I start
up. However, I find this true when I am trying to respond to an alarm. If
I use the braille-note to awaken me, there's an alarm that does that. When
I turn on, the thing says: card inserted, warning, etc. But if I just
straight turn the machine on, I often get no warning at all.
So take that for what it is worth--which may be nothing. I also have more
difficulty with the storage card--the one on the right than I do with the CF
card, the small ones in the back.
And by the way, I'd lost my 256 CF card. What is that, 256K. Anyhow, I
found it the other day. I'm so thankful to have found it.
Best,
Penny
