Okay, guys, now that I've learned to connect to the net with my wireless
card and router, I'm trying to learn how to browse my 'puter with it. I
know my computer's name is peggy, so I type that in the server name. I
just hit enter on the domain and password thing, because my 'puter (to my
knowledge, and I think I should know), doesn't have one. So far, I hit no
on the default log-on thing, because I don't want it to remember the
settings until I know I've got them right. Then I hit space with e, and it
tells me the log-on failed, but doesn't say why. Does anyone have any
ideas what the problem might be? I've got a Windows XP machine. At first
it wasn't even finding my computer, because I had the Windows firewall
on. But I turned that off and turned the router firewall on, so now it at
least recognizes my 'puter name. Guess I'll look at more router settings
and see what I can figure out.
