Lisa, I've had the same experience as you. I got my unit in October of 2000, and the worst thing that happened was that the speaker went out. The really big things have worked great. I also have a unit at work that they got for me in April of 2001, and it's never been in for servicing of any kind. So I wonder what's up with the all the problems people are suddenly having.

problems than those who have older units. My BrailleNote is almost 4 years
