Hello Stacey,

The kernel is basically the centre, if you like, of the operating system.
The version number is for our reference internally.  However, the date and
time that is shown is not when your BrailleNote had the image programmed,
but rather, the date on which we built Windows CE down here in New Zealand.
Therefore, users should only see this change when upgrading to a new ROM
image.
