Thanks to Bob and Max, along with everyone else, who wrote and helped me out. I did the reset with dots 4,5,6 held down, and after having to answer the questions, and doing a plain old reset, my Braille Note seems to be doing fine again, whew! I have to reset the time and date, but other than that, it seems to be doing okay. But, I did notice something a little odd. My BN came up without speech. I found this odd because the one or two other times I've done a reset, my unit came up talking. I didn't mind that it came up without speech on because I prefer braille, but I was just wondering if it was normal or not for it to come back up without speech? Also, fortunately, I didn't have anything stored on the KeySoft system disk. Before I go, I do have another question. I need to back up my files on the BrailleNote, and I was just wondering if I should change any of my folder names or not? I've never used my BN to back up my files before, I've always transfered them onto my computer via a compact flash card, but I've decided that I should probably learn to use the backup utility incase I don't have a computer at hand. So, is there anything I need to know before I backup my files on my BN? Sorry this message was so long. Thanks again to everyone who wrote to me with suggestions.
