I'm running 5.1 22. This Word XP file was on my compact flash card (all
my files are on my compact flash card!) and I kept getting an exception
error. I put the card back into the card reader on my desktop, saved the
offending doc as a text file, and when I opened it on the BrailleNote it
worked like a charm.

Subject: [Braillenote] word xp files

Hello Susie,
You can't read files created using word xp on your bn? Hmmm, that's
weird. I
too have windows xp, and word xp, and whenever I transfer word files
from the
computer to the bn, they appear to work fine. What happens is, the bn,
turns
all word files sent to it, into pocket word documents, and once you have
the
file in the bn, you then have to translate the pocket word document into
a
keyword file in order to read them. What version of keysoft are you
currently
using?
