Yes, I had the same thing so I bought another SMA so technically I have three sma's my old one and one new one will be used for 6.1 and then I'll have another one left. ----- Original Message ----- From: "doug martin" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Braillenote List" <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, January 15, 2005 2:54 AM Subject: [Braillenote] SMa updates and confusion
Hi. I bought the SMA about 18 months ago, the one for downloading upgrades--not compact flash upgrades. I used the first upgrade to get 5.0 or 5.1 or whatever, and I have one credit left. I understand that Keysoft 6.1 will require two SMA credits, and the upgrades can't be downloaded. So, is the one SMA credit that I still have of any value? What will it cost to get the 6.1 and OS upgrades? Does the fact that I bought the SMA, and was therefore expecting one upgrade, do me any good as far as pricing? Please clear up my confusion. I'm sure lots of folks have one SMA credit still available, and would be interested in this same info.
