I didn't have a problem getting out of one handed mode when I tried to do so. But, I didn't have all those beeps you mentioned beforehand, either. Now, I'm guessing you didn't wait for the PK to talk before pressing enter; but, rather, pressed it real quickly after you had let up on the c 4 key? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rosemary Teehan" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Braillenote List" <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, June 11, 2005 12:20 PM Subject: [Braillenote] one-handed mode
Hi, My Braille-Note PK is stuck in one-handed mode. I've tried resetting it and following the instructions given, which are to press enter immediately after turning the PK on. Neither has worked. Before the PK went into one-handed mode it kept beeping and repeating main menu exit. If I put the BNPK to sleep, which I can't remember the command for, would that work? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also, to synchronize the PC with the BNPK, do you need to use MS-WORD? If so, I'll have to purchase a copy because it didn't come with my PC when I bought it in January. Only Pocket Word was provided. Thanks.
