Hello Beth, You can download pdf files on the BN, but you cannot read them. As we have discussed earlier, you would need to send them to one of a few conversion email addresses if you have no other way of converting them, say with a computer. Though these addresses can sometimes be a little iffy, I've never had problems with them. But then again, if I needed the file ASAP, this would be way less than an ideal situation.
Note also that, in my experience, if I download a compacted file which happens to be a pdf file, I am unable to unpack it using the BN's facility, even upon changing the extension to .bks.
