Dear Richard,

I would hope a modified printer wouldn't cost $1,000. If they modified a
printer which didn't require Windows software but required USB connection, a
parallel port could replace the USB or even a parallel/USB adapter could be
created so the cable could be plugged into the printer and the BN.

In the case of my printer, which happens to be a LaserJet 1012, there would
need to be a way to get around the use of plug-in software plus modifying
the USB connection.

I wonder if software could be created which would be embeded into the BN and
then the necessary cable connection would have to be created.

Perhaps PDI could modify a model of printer which could easily be done
without too much expense and make a deal with one of the printer
manufacturers so that they could continue to obtain those printers, and its
parts, even if the model should be discontinued for the general public.

Anyway, I'd like to hear from PDI about how they plan to make the BN
accessible to more printers.

I also would like to know if PDI plans to create 1-inch margins so that
KeyWord documents would automatically have a 1-inch margin on the top,
bottom, left and right so the printed document would have even margins.
