Hi Tina, The thing to check for is to see if the phone you want has either a port for a serial cable on it or an ir port. If it has a port on the side or bottom of the phone, you might be able to get a cable from the manufacturer rather than from Sprint directly.
When I've gotten phone accessories, I usually went to the manufacturers directly. If that doesn't work, one of the specialty places might be able to help you out. But, if there is a plug on the phone for a cable, it's quite likely such a cable does exist. Don On Tue, 24 Aug 2004 22:06:49 -0700, tina wrote: Hi. I just got homwh from sprint where i found out my current phone's on its last legsou it's hardly finding service anymore so, i'm calling in the morning about replacements and my question is, if i can get the phone i saw tonight which does not come with a serial cable, could i have one made to meet my needs. someone suggested supply net, which i'll check once i know for sure, but thought there'd be enough computer people here who could tell me if this is possible. Hopefully they can just replace it with what i have, but i doubt it and I saw a cute little samsung today i wouldn't mind having if i can contoue to enjoy the wireless or sort of wireless access i have so enjoyed since i got my braille note. ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
