yes, keynote gold speech is good. but you absolutely can't beat getting yourself a copy of the at&t natural voices and using them with kurzweil for reading books. The at&t natural voices take up anywhere from 600mb to 1.2gb per voice. For example, mike takes up 600mb, charles 700mb, etc. You also need a minimum of 256mb or ram memory to run them without them being choppy. You want human speech? Try those!! Charles, the british male voice is great for reading harry potter and lord of the rings while Anjali a female voice that speaks english with an indian accent is good for reading just to make your reading a bit more interesting. They also come in Spanish German and French voices. I myself have spanish and german and they're excellent! They are not computer voices, they are very very large samples of human speech.
