Don't ever format anything on the Braillenote, It turns disks into coasters, and I'm not sure what else you could use CF cards for. (SMILE)! There is a known bug in the BN's format program. Media should be formatted on a PC.

If I'm not clear, someone will tell me. I hope I've helped you. As far as the braille display, my dot 2 is gone. I do exercise my braille display, clean it with a warm damp cloth. I've also sprayed it with the canned air.
