Hi Charles,

The sad truth is that the address list is stored in a Microsoft Pocket
Access database (.cdb) file, which is proprietary. I certainly couldn't
find any application that would convert your data to a more open format
using Google, but there might be something, somewhere, out in the wild.
In the meantime, you will need to use Microsoft Outlook to synchronise
your address list over to the PC, and even then you may not be able to
free your data from the clawing grip of Microsoft's proprietorship.
However, it looks like your juciest option, and you will at least have the
data rescued, somewhere. To make this work, you will need KeySoft version
5.1, which can be had for nothing from your SDW download page at
pulsedata.com, as well as KeySync server software. You will then run
ActiveSync on the PC, establish your BrailleNote's connection to it, and
run the synchronisation utility. If you have a PC with Microsoft Outlook
on it, you can at least get your data onto that PC using the instructions
in the new manual (or ask for help if you need it).

Sorry the news isn't great. You can thank Microsoft.

Cheers,
Sabahattin
